Hey Blogging birds!

Guess what, it is Zoe's birthday today!!! Oh my gosh! Happy birthday Zoe!!!

Anyway, we started out the day with Lauren reading Vincent's blog. A lot of people are missing today because of the PSAT's. I hope you guys do good! 

Does anyone want to order: To Kill A Mockingbird ? If so, get a form from Ms. Nakada and order it NOW!

Right now Danika and Lauren are passing out portfolios. Irene and Mona are passing out green and purple papers about our individual grades and how to do the Student Led Conferences. 

Danika just handed me my portfolio thank you Danika.

Right now the Birds are filling out our Student-Led Conference papers.

We can show all these things in class on Parent-Conference night, or at home. Ms Nakada says: "Remember to thank your parents."

You are going to show your parents:

• Binder Reminder with agendas
•  Portfolios with all work
• Reading Journal and reading record
• English Notebook with all class notes
• AR reading range_____ Tests passed______ Word count________
• English Grades/Scores______% _______Grade

Also, you have to tell your parents about your individual reading goals and writing goals.
 Right now we are passing back stuff to add to our grades, assignments #21, 22, 23,24.

I feel so isolated up here... I'm on a lonely island. *humming and annoying song* I'm isolated.
