HW: RJ 8.1 Inside Out & Back Again pg. 1-20
Quiz #2 Wednesday

Hey guys, yay! It's the day we turn in our final drafts of The Outsiders essay how exiting! We are currently stapling our final draft, rough draft and editing paper together to turn in. i can tell that the room is tense and people are nervous. they're like "am i good?" , "is it good", "do you think i'll get an A?". Oh my gosh i feel so isolated up here, like totally separated from everyone else, people are having conversations and I'm just like oh heyy, I'm here too :p its like I'm on an abandoned island. ok enough of that. We're getting out our english notebooks i wonder what we're gonna do, guess i'll find out in a second. Ooh we're finishing our banned book week notes, we're writing in the questions. Why would we want to celebrate banned book week? Because as mericans we got to celebrate murica! without banned book week people would just wonder about books but not have done anything about it, we have banned book week so we can talk about books and why they might be banned. Who should ban books for you? Parents, teachers and some schools ban books but as Samson said "if someone tells you NOT to read a book your going to be intrigued to read it, the only person who can tell you not to read a book is yourself" What did you learn about banned books or banned book week? I learned a lot about banned books, I didn't even know there was a celebration for it, maybe its cuz I'm blonde :P.

We're now adding another page to our table of contents called The Fall of Saigon. Ms. Nakada is going to put up pictures and we are going to fill out a t-chart about something we noticed about the picture and something you wonder. People are getting up and looking at the pictures, there are 6 pictures that are all sad, they all relate to killing or getting hurt, being scared. THE BELLLL!!!

ok, bye #frozen
