Hello Everyone. It is Ms. Nakada's last day... :'(
Right now Ms. Nakada's gave us all copies of Avi's book, we have to read the book (which ever one we chose) and then we have to fill out the paper before Avi visits us on Feb. 18th.
Now we are going to do summaries of ch. 8 and 9
-On Black Poets Day, Crystal Mendoza is going to perform, go Crystal! Guys, you should attend and be audience and support for her.
The class is quiet while we are writing summaries. the Eliana and Lourden and some of the class is now arguing with Tai because he made a sexist comment towards Scout... "Are they ever gonna start raising Scout like an actual girl?" The class quiet down and they are now discussing the topic, well Samson and Nakada ended on a compromise. :)
We watched a part of the movie with chapter 9 in it. The class is now reading or doing their packets.
It has just been announced that we are going to have a quiz on Wednesday, with main focus on ch 11. For those of you who are going to Astrocamp will take it when you come back. Ms. Nakada just gave us an overview of what we are going to do over the next 2 weeks. Bye guys, remember to be awesome when Ms. Nakada is gone, we'll miss you!
