everyone working on NaNoWriMo

      We started off by Zoe choosing me to do the blog today. Thanks Zoe. We then started a new page entitled Analyzing the Universal Refugee Experience. Alex randomly started sharpening her pencil in the middle of class. She then got a warning because shes only allowed to sharpen once in class. We then separated our paper into three columns. The columns were titled similarities, Unique to refugees, and unique to immigrants. We had to read the entire passage and come up with three similarities to put in the column. the similarities between Refugees and Immigrants are migration, school adjustments, and cultural brokers. Now we are looking for the unique experiences that refugees face, in the third paragraph. those experiences would be them tragedy of war, loss of family and friends, and witnessing violence. finally we have to look for unique experiences immigrants face. we have now transitioned into NaNoWriMo. Ms.Nakada then took our percentages and the bell rang.
