Hello!

       To start off the day, Keith read his blog and then he picked me. Ms. Nakada started the To Kill a Mockingbird movie for the people who haven't seen the end.

       After the movie, Ms. Nakada gives us time to work on our poems. If we're already done, we have to work on our introductions for our collections. Ms. Nakada gives us some prompts to get our writing juices flowing.

Ms. Nakada wrote an extremely upsetting poem about dead children.

Not that much happened today so I'm keeping it short.

NaPoWriMo collections due Monday!

Hey Guys! I wanted to do the blog today so let's get started. But keep in mind I'm really tired so this blog will probably be really bad.

We started up by Therese reading the special birthday blog. Then we see the website for the Emerson silent auction. Yes Aidan, believe it or not, you do pay money for stuff in an auction. Eliana really wanted to look at handbags, but Ms. Nakada just wanted to get to everyone's favorite part of the day: CHAPTER SUMMARIES!!! (not really) 

I'm not even writing these summaries down because I got such a late start on the blog. The first summary I've written down is the one for chapter 27. I really should do more work in this class.

Aidan thinks Jem died. Because that's clearly the story of how Jem broke his arm. How does Isaac not know what a VHS player is? No Isaac, it's not like an Ipad. I should probably wrap this blog up, since it has dissolved into me typing what other people are saying.

But before we end this blog, Nima gets a shout out because I'm a nice person.

It's everyone's birthday today, well not really, but a lot of people were born today!

There's two prompts for today because it's "TWO" for Tuesday. GET caught up people! April is almost over!

Samson just shared a really cheerful poem, that told us that we will all soon be dead, thanks Samson!

I am Doing the blog today. That is really fun!! What is space exploration? I don't know but it sounds like fun. Well question answered. It is a topic to help us on our Smarter Balanced Assessment but it is top secret so I cant let you about what happens but you will know because you are most likely in class. We are done. Now we are writing some poems and also Ms. Nakada is checking our poems. The prompt today is My                 The                     . Today we have a 2 hour. We spent some of it in the auditorium because Ms.Nakada had to give a speech at the parent tours about ESA. We start off with Aidan reading the blog and then he picked me. Irene collects money for the pizza. many people forget to bring money. We read a poem called Aunt Sue's Stories. We talk about what we notice in the poem. after reading the poem and discussing it we write a poem. the prompt is abut swings.i like nanowrimo so much better than napowrimo. im terrible at writing poems. We get time to finish writing our essays.

Yesterday, I was picked to do the blog by Georgia Girl Lara. So here I am. We started of the TWO HOUR period by reading a poem by Langston Hughes. Yes Tai, he is black. Students read the poem and analyzed it for poetic devices. After, Ms. Nakada gave us a prompt to write about science. Then, we began writing our To Kill A Mockingbird essay. Ok, fine. Maybe I write a little too big. Good thing I'm typing this blog. Well, I should get to work.

                            I'm really exhausted and my nails are super long so there may be lots of types. Mrs. Nakada just had a check in on our NapoWriMo progess. I only have 7, but I;m nt really that poetic. Hnestyl, I am so tired I don't even kow what to type and I a struggling stayi g awake. Mrs. Nakada is now showing us some links on the computer. One of the links shows a poem a day. She is now reading the poem, I'm not really listening though. I hate poems, but NapoWriMo is SOO much easier than NanoWriMo. Now, we're writing a confession poem. Oh god, Im so bad at peoms. I dont know what to write and now I'm feeling badly about myself. I'm basically indirecting how much I hate everyone in each of my poems. I love it.  People are reading their poems. Ugh, we start CRCTs next Monday. :((( By the way CRCTs are what we call placement tests back in Georgia. Now you know. Alright, so now we're starting our TKAM essays. I feel kind of bad how my blog post is quite short. I envy how everyone else writes so much when nothing is happening in class and then read it so enthusiastically the next day. I must actually confess, I haven't done the blog in so, so long. I think this is actually my third blog. Ha. Funny thing, actually, I finished my TKAM essay because I thought it was due today. The bell rang, so Imma gooooo. OKay bye.

     Hello everyone, this morning we start by Vincent reading his blog then Eliana starts to read the poem "Ode to family photographs" out loud for the class. Oh yeah Mr. Ferrin is back (yay) Mr. Ferrin is now explaining what a vignette is. We are now taking out our reading journals to write a poem (Topic: Family good or bad) By the way this is for Napowrimo and it counts  (helllllllllllo <--- Daya)

Ms.Nakada has returned and now she has started to check the binder reminders. Most of the class is talking about march maddness or about their spring break. We are taking out or Rjs and our notebooks and Ms.Nakada is working on finding the Rjs, we may have to show the old ones again. Mr.Ferrin is coming back. We created a page in our notebooks called NaPoWriMo. We have to write a poem a day, but we are behind so we have write two a day, 30 poems are due May 4th. The bell rang so by.
